After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Pace University, Ms. LaMonica worked as a Systems Engineer for JP Morgan for over 10 years.  In 2007, she transitioned into the field of Education after completing a Masters degree in Math Education at Brooklyn College. She taught 8th grade Mathematics for 8 years and then became a Data Specialist and a Math Coach before earning an administrative license and becoming an assistant principal.
