The Pershing Post
John J. Pershing Middle School’s school newspaper, The Pershing Post, came about from a few teachers’ desire to provide the students with an academic and creative way to express themselves.
The Pershing Post allows students to explore their interests in the various fields of writing, art and photography, while learning about team collaboration and time management.
The Pershing Post students are given total creative freedom to choose what they write about for each issue, ranging from school events to politics around the world, making for a newspaper that is truly centered around our school community.
